Beef Madras Garlic Balti
Joint of beef (trimmed and cut into chunks) this also works for brisket. Generous 5tbsp amount of Beef Garlic Madras powder (Taste Buds Seasonings)
Bang it in a good pan with a lug of olive and cook on medium, stir every few minutes
Meanwhile finely chop 2 onions, 5 gloves of garlic, thumb sized chunk of ginger (chilli optional)
Add to the pan- if the meat is sticking/burning add a splash of water!
Once onions are soft add 2 tins of chopped tomatoes, 1 beef stock, 1 tin of water, stir and put lid on.
Move to preheated oven 180 for 4 hours
Take it out, check to see if you need a drop of water and if the beef is falling apart! If it’s good to go! Finely slice 3-4 garlic gloves and a big bunch of coriander and stir! Put the lid back on and let it sit/chill out for 20 mins
Serve with what ever you want
